Your goal is in reach.
I was able to use Tuition Reimbursement, Financial Aid, and Graduation Funds, to pay for the required classes once I started."
- Danyelle Bondurant
Getting your degree should be exciting. Inspiring. Challenging. The last thing you want is to be stressed about affording it. The fact is, we know our students perform better when they can stop thinking about the cost of college and focus on their studies instead. So Strayer is committed to providing affordable degrees with a lot of flexibility. Here are just some of the ways we can help you afford college:
Innovations in Affordability
We start with a reasonably priced tuition at every degree level, but we don't end there. In the past few years, Strayer has introduced innovative programs, including our Grad Fund and the Law Enforcement Tuition Assistance program to provide incentives to achieve and financial assistance.
With Grad Fund, bachelor's degree students can save up $14,350 on the cost of their education. That's up to 25% of your total tuition. This unique program, which helps you build up tuition credits for your final classes at Strayer during the first quarters, creates an incentive to keep going toward your goal. We even help you keep track of your progress as you go along. Some students have earned credit for as many as 10 courses in the final year of their bachelor’s degree program.
The Law Enforcement Tuition Assistance program is available to currently employed police officers, sheriffs, state troopers, rangers, and corrections officers who have completed a basic law enforcement training program. It offers a tuition rate of $750 per undergraduate course, which is a 47% cost savings.
Ways We Can Help
Students can transfer

of your total degree
*Students transferring into the RN-BSN Completion program may transfer in 145 quarter credit hours.
We'll work with you to get the full value of as many of your existing credits as possible. And, if your former college is one of more than 460 partners, ALL of your associate degree credits will transfer if you enroll in a related Strayer bachelor's degree program.* That could get you half way to your bachelor's degree from the start.*All courses are subject to Strayer University policies, including a ten-year limitation on courses in accounting and computer-related areas. Terms of individual agreements may vary. Check your school's agreement for details.
Most of our students are working adults who have a lot of experience, even though they may not have formal education. Our portfolios and exams allow you to prove your knowledge and reduce the number of required courses you have to take to complete your degree.Source: Strayer Internal Records
